I spent 10 years as a classroom teacher and math interventionist, providing individualized and small-group instruction. I have also worked as a teaching assistant and substitute teacher (K–8).
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy planning a mix of fun and educational activities tailored to each child’s age and interests. Indoors, I love doing arts and crafts, reading stories, imaginative play, puzzles, building activities, music and movement, and simple learning games that support early literacy and math skills.
Outdoors, I enjoy going on walks, playground trips, nature exploration, ball games, bike or scooter rides, chalk art, and sensory play. I also like incorporating routines such as library visits, playdates, and local classes when appropriate. My goal is always to keep children engaged, active, and learning through play.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny to me is making sure children feel safe, loved, and comfortable being themselves. I really value the relationships I build with both the kids and their families, and I try to be someone they can trust and rely on. It means so much to me to be part of a child’s everyday life, watching them grow, learn new things, and reach big milestones.
My experience with special needs children...
I began my teaching career as a one-on-one teaching assistant supporting children with behavioral, physical, and learning disabilities for three years. In this role, I provided individualized support, helped implement IEP goals, and assisted with daily routines and learning activities.
I then worked for five years as a grades 3–6 math interventionist, where I supported students with learning disabilities through small-group and one-on-one instruction, targeted intervention plans, and ongoing progress monitoring.

My favorite nanny moment was when the 1-year-old girl I was nannying for walked for the first time. It was so special being there for such a huge milestone.
