I was a teacher at a mental health facility during Covid. I helped many children get in contact with virtual schooling and helped them stay motivated.

I enjoy reading to children because I believe that is very important for child development.
The most important part about being a nanny...
is to be an asset to the family and of course take care of the kids well-being. I enjoy learning new family dynamics and being able to adapt to their household and simply be of assistance.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked privately with two families who had children with autism. One girl from 8-11 years old and another boy when he 9 years old. Both were non-verbal and needed assisting with washing and ADLs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I used to go to the renaissance fair with the kids. I also enjoyed when we went to the zoo to visit the animals. Overall, if I had to choose a favorite daily time for the kids it would be bedtime. I love to read to children. I read Harry Potter to one of the kids and he just wanted to me to keep going. A true fan!
