A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Lauri and I raised two wonderful kids while working as a prescool teacher at the only NAEYC preschool in Corpus Christi, TX. I loved taking my kids on enriching trips to local museums and parks.. I read every book I could find on parenting, childhood development, nutrition and exercise. I believe children should be allowed to enjoy and safely explore the world because they grow into adults very quickly. Childhood is the foundation of a person's life. Children should be nurtured and respected throughout the process of growth into adulthood.

I worked in the IT industry during my career. I was happiest when I taught preschool and had plenty of time with my children, until my youngest was in kindergarten. My kids participated in Santa Fe Soccer, dance, t-ball, baseball, CCAC Cheer and gymnastics, as well as summer courses at the Yacht Club and Texas State Aquarium.
