A little bit about me

I have worked with children in schools, camps, and shelter/group homes for over 20 years. For the past 15 years, I have been a nanny and caregiver for children ages newborn to 14 years old. I fill the day full of activities, reading, outings, and play dates. I prepare all meals required during the day/evening, do light housework, bathing and provide homework assistance. I also run errands and grocery shop when needed. I really enjoy working with families to help raise their children and I feel honored to help in their development. My past and current experiences working with children in a variety of settings have really made me a wonderful nanny.

"Laurie is incredible. She was the perfect fit for our family and I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and kind person to look after their child/children. Laurie cared for our daughter for over a year (our daughter was about 5 months old when she began). She was always on time (or early!) and we always knew our daughter was in good hands with her. We feel so fortunate to have had Laurie be our nanny."

"Laurie was the best nanny we could have imagined for our daughter. She cared for our daughter full time from 3 months old to over 2 years. She is very reliable and communicative. Laurie is so knowledgeable about infant developmental milestones and kept our daughter engaged with age appropriate activities, including introducing solid foods when appropriate, helping with potty training, and age appropriate social skills. Additionally, Laurie is a very responsible driver and we trusted her to drive our daughter to activities, library time, parks, etc. I have no reservations recommending Laurie as a nanny!"

"Laurie was a godsend for us! We had a daughter who was born premature, and we were very selective in choosing our nanny. We put our trust in Laurie. She was confident, thoughtful, and had a wealth of experience. She is also an amazing human being with a great sense of integrity in her work and love her family. I would highly recommend her to any family."

"Laurie was with our baby girl since she was 2 months old. Laurie helped nurture and helped her grow more than we could have ever done on our own. She has lots of experience with children from young ages and it shows! If we didn't move, Laurie would hopefully still be with us. We miss her! Also, she helped me as a new mom with so much! She always new the next steps to take with our daughters growth. She definitely kept her on track as well as an amazing sleep schedule that we still follow today."
