In that role I supervised homework and academic activities, planned and ran recreational and club programs, helped with dismissal and pick-up, and communicated with parents every day about how things went. I also spent several years working in public libraries, including the New York Public Library, where I helped children and families find books and materials, answered a lot of questions, and got very good at keeping a busy space calm and organized.
