My experience with special needs children...
Is broad and always enjoyed. I encourage children in my care to be inclusive to children with special needs and take a calm and inviting approach when it comes to interacting. No child should be left out or feel unwanted. I never teach children to single out someone for being different. I currently have experience with children on the spectrum as well as sensory disorders and food aversion.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I absolutely love the reaction children get when I pull activities out of my nanny bag. Even if it's a one time nanny experience I always bring something fun for all of us to do together and love the smiles and memories I create.
