A little bit about me

My name is Layla Haapala! I am 18 years old currently employed as a house cleaner. I love to sing, dance and have fun! I’m a big sister of four siblings! Although that isn’t official experience I’ll tell you why it’s the perfect experience for being a nanny. To start when I was 10 I watched and took care of my 10 month old baby sister while my biological mom battled addiction. I changed her, fed her, hung out with her, and always made sure she was safe. As I got older, on my dad’s side of the family around Covid I watched my three younger brothers (ages 4,11 and 12) for two years. Walking up at 7 making them breakfast lunch sometimes dinner and we played board games, I did preschool learning with the youngest including abcs counting and later in reading and multiplying until around 4. I kept the house clean and kept them entertained. And I always stayed patient! I love working with kids and would love to be a nanny so please consider me for your new nanny!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I babysit my three siblings when I was 13 to 15 from 7:30 AM to four or five. I would cook them food and keep them entertained. Their ages ranged from 4 to 12. I would keep the house clean and do preschool learning with my youngest brother, I have also watched several of my family members, one being a newborn baby and one who was autistic and had down syndrome. I’m a very patient individual who is young and new to this profession. Looking to find a family who will trust me with their children and let me help them out!!!

I love to paint with kids, play school, dress up, coloring preschool learning, anything a kid finds fun I can help them bring to light if it’s safe!
