Christina
"I am happy to recommend Rachel as a nanny and caregiver. She cared for our daughter starting at eight months old and also looked after our son, who was two and a half at the time. Rachel is caring, nurturing, and excellent with children of all ages. She follows instructions closely, pays strong attention to detail, and prepares meals for the children. She was reliable, communicative, and thoughtful in how she supported daily routines and activities. Our children were comfortable and happy in her care, and we always felt confident leaving them with her. Rachel is a wonderful nanny, and I would gladly recommend her to any family looking for a dependable and compassionate caregiver."

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a co-director for an elementary school after school program. I worked as a teacher there for 1 year and was co-director for 6 months.

I have volunteered in several churches with students in elementary ages for Summer church camps. I also was on camp staff for two years volunteered for youth groups with students in middle and high school; and have volunteered in youth groups with students in the same age range.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to sing and have dance parties. I like to make playlists of kids' favorite songs and show them new age appropriate ones. I like to teach kids all the words I know from the limited knowledge I have of the languages I'm currently learning as I'm not fluent in other languages yet.

I like to go on walks with kids and read books. I also am a big advocate of curiosity and encouraging kids to learn about their interests.

I also like to encourage them to self-play creatively or with siblings to teach them to self entertain and help with conflict resolution.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Aside from the actual physical safety of the child I feel that their emotional safety is important too. You can't always be a child's friend as a nanny, but it's important that they know they can trust you. I aim to make sure kids feel safe around me and know they can be themselves. I feel that it creates a good environment for the kids.

My experience with special needs children...

I have limited experience with special needs individuals. In my most interactive experience, I worked with one child for about a week at a wedding and it was a good experience. He had autism and was non-verbal. We spent a good portion of the week together in loud open environments and controlled quiet ones.

I worked closely with the parents and was left alone with him for some points of time as we were attending a wedding or during down-time, were at their house. I was grateful to have the experience of learning how he liked to communicate and becoming a safe individual to him in the short time we got to spend together.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It's so hard to pick favorites but I'd say collectively it's been my latest nanny family and their two kids who are 3.5 and 1.5 years old. I mentioned that I love teaching them new words casually as we spend time with each other. The younger child used one of the words in the proper context toward her older brother and they will use these words with me all the time. It seems small, but for me it's a large achievement.

I love to watch children grow and learn so to be a part of that for them is huge to me. They are young so they may lose these words as they get older since I will not work with them forever. But I feel that I've built an infrastructure for them to be curious and learn new things and explore.

Hi, my name is Justys Williams, and I’m an 18-year-old responsible and caring babysitter with many years of hands-on experience working with children. I grew up in a home-based daycare environment, and from ages 8 to 18 I volunteered regularly at my mom’s best friend’s daycare center.

I’m a part-time nanny with over 10 years of experience, including three years in a preschool setting. I’m First Aid & CPR certified and comfortable with kids of all ages.

I adapt to each child’s energy, needs, and parental style, creating activities that build confidence, spark curiosity, and support their growth. I also support potty training, early communication through sign language, and age-appropriate independence.
