Drawing, making crafts, reading, sensory play (sand, legos, etc), food play like (making a face on a pancake), on my travels I take a lot of photos of animals and plants so I like to show them and explain what the animal/plant is, if you have tv time I like putting on National Geographic or something more cartoony but educational!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think having fun is my main goal, like if we are doing homework I'm going to make it interactive and fun so they'd want to do more!
another important part is safety if your child is sensitive to scents or allergic to cats or certain foods, I will do my best to bring an extra pair of clean clothes to avoid any reactions. also I like being able to be comfortable with the child I would like to know their boundaries as well as their likes and dislikes. another important thing to layout is I will not take any pictures of the child unless asked by parent and will be deleted after being sent to parent/parents.

My experience with special needs children...
I’ve had experience with special needs but I am not confident that I would be able to take care of them fully, which is why I will not take a job with a special needs child until I’m fully confident with myself!
