I have my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, an active CDA certification, and First Aid certification. I have years of experience as a babysitter and nanny caring for children of different ages with love, patience, and structure, plus experience as a mom of two SJA students. I also sometimes teach Spanish in a fun, natural way through songs, games, and daily conversation, so children learn while they play.

I enjoy a mix of fun and educational activities to keep children engaged and learning. Indoors we do reading, arts and crafts, puzzles, music and dance, and age-appropriate learning games in English and Spanish. Outdoors we enjoy park play, nature walks, playground time, and creative games that encourage imagination, movement, and social skills.

I have personal experience caring for my nephew with autism. This has taught me patience, consistency, clear communication, and the importance of following routines. I create a calm, safe, and loving environment, understanding sensory needs and celebrating each small achievement. I provide respectful, nurturing care focused on making every child feel safe, understood, and included while supporting them at their own pace.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments is when a child who was shy at first finally feels safe and says "I want Leidy to stay" with a big hug. Those small moments of trust and love remind me why I love being a nanny – seeing children feel secure, happy, and confident because they know someone truly cares for them like family.
