I was a tutor/mentor for an after school Christian nonprofit organization called the Leaven. It was Monday through Friday 3-5 pm. We would have outside time for about 25 minutes, have snack after wards or even during outside time for efficiency and utilization of time. Then, we would do homework, if they didn’t have homework I would have activity packets which would be fun yet educational. Not every student I had had the same packet, I like to have each packet be their learning level, favorite subjects and coloring pages. After packet time, we would have reading for about 20 minutes, sometimes there would be an occasion reading for everyone in the class which I enjoyed doing. With the remaining, we would all clean up, sanitize our tables, put away any books or learning games that have been taken out, and prepare for the end of day fun.
