Alongside being the oldest daughter of a family of twelve children, I have also babysit for my best friend’s infant child up until the age of two. I have also babysat for many of my uncles and aunties children, and have had experiences being around and caring for children ages 4 months to 15 years old.

My favorite nanny moment definitely occurred during a last minute date night for an aunty of mine who had two boys at the time, one who was three and the other who was two. Being used to me already but not enough to not shed a tear when their parents had left them with me, I decided to put together the perfect movie night for them. This involved putting up a fort for them, adding some string lights, and putting on their favorite movie at the time (Minions!) By the time the movie had started, they were no longer sad and much more amused and comfortable.
