The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and consistent environment where children can thrive. It is more than supervision, it is about being a steady and positive presence in their lives. Children need someone who will reassure them when they feel unsure, encourage them when they try something new, and celebrate them for exactly who they are.

I have meaningful experience caring for children, including those on the autism spectrum, where I focus on patience, consistency, and creating a supportive environment tailored to their needs. I am skilled at providing reassurance, engaging them in playful and creative activities, and encouraging social and emotional growth.
While my strengths are in working with children, especially in building connections and supporting their daily routines, I am not currently comfortable with tasks that involve full personal care for adults (such as bathing, lifting, or medical related assistance). The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when a little one I cared for ran up to me after a long day and said, “You make me feel safe and happy.” Moments like that remind me why I love this work so much. Whether it’s turning a tough day around with laughter, watching a child gain confidence in something they’ve been working hard on, or simply being their trusted person to share joy with, I cherish every bit of it.
