A moment that really stuck with me was when a child I was nannying for was having a tough morning and missing their parents. I sat with them, read their favorite book, and we talked about their feelings. After a little while they gave me a big hug and said they felt better. Moments like that mean so much to me because being someone a child trusts and feels safe with is incredibly special.
