I was an assistant for our GRADS program at my high school! I got to hangout with toddlers who ranged from 1 year to 4 years! I love getting to hear them giggle and say all of their funny sayings they come up with!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love reading books, playing games, or if allowed, snuggling up and watching a movie and enjoying some popcorn or any other sweet treat! I also love baking and always enjoy getting a little messy in the kitchen!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being able to have a connection with the kids while also keeping the boundaries that the parents/guardians set! I want them to be able to have a good time while mom and dad can also have a good time!
My experience with special needs children...
I worked for a non-profit called the D.I.S.H. Foundation. I worked with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I was a mentor to them so they get to learn real world experiences while working in a customer service setting!
