More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a teachers assitant for preschool! in addition, I have been babysitting since i was 18!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some activities I like to do with children include but are not limited to: coloring, playing outside, watching movies, enrichment, etc!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about being a nanny is honestly, patience, and transparency. I think patience goes a long way especially when getting familiar with the children. as for transparency , that’s mainly towards the parents. It’s important for a nanny to have that so that they can communicate with the parents.
My experience with special needs children...
As for my experience with special needs children, I got about 6 months of experience while caring for my youngest brother while my parents weren’t home. As for special needs children outside of my family, I also got experience with children from a special needs camp! I was a counselor and I would help with anything for them whether that was eating, coloring, or just some quality time!!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny/babysitter moment was definitely one for the books! I had been babysitting this set of twins for about 5 months on the weekends. I grew a bond with them! with that being said, they decided to show their gratitude towards me! so they made me a book before my shift one day that included all the fun things i would do with them. here’s the kicker: they used their moms favorite book and just drew over the words!! safe to say, i had to pay close attention to the book shelf while I worked for them further!!
