Hey my name is Leyah (like for Star Wars). I am 20 years old, Im from Chicago. I have been working with kids since I was 15 years old, started off doing summer camps. Since then I knew I had to find my true passion in the kids industry.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing is I do what parents request. Meaning if the child can only watch TV for 20 minutes I do so or if the child or children have a schedule I follow the schedule. Whatever you ask for me to do I follow your request.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked with two my whole entire life, and it is a challenge experience but what i learned is to have patience and understand them. They are no different from anyone else, to me I say they are even more special than others!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I honestly don’t have one because every moment is my favorite, but if I was to choose my favorite moment had to be when I first started. My first family was so welcoming it seems like I was at home. They were so loving and welcoming, they had so many activities for us to do and they even let me stay for dinner. I thought that was the sweetest thing ever!
