A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Liela Snyder and I am 19 years old. I graduated from Shorewood High School in June of 2021 and have since begun classes at the University of Minnesota this past September.

I have worked in childcare for the majority of my life. I began babysitting at the age of 12 and immediately fell in love. I believe that we learn from children just as much as they learn from us. As a guardian and role model, I aspire to help young individuals engage in helpful conversations, whether it be resolving conflict or excepting peers I believe the most powerful tool we have is our words.

Spending time outdoors is incredibly important. I believe engaging with the world around us can teach each one of us important and necessary life skills.

I have worked at the JCC rainbow day camp as a lifeguard and swim lesson teacher.
