More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I attended both a private Catholic grade school and high school where I’ve done service hours at multiple camps and learning centers for children of all ages. Mainly, I was a full-time nanny for a family for over ten years, taking kids to and from school to extracurricular activities and social outings. I also assisted with homework, housework, meal prep, and other needs around the house.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really like doing whatever the kids are into at the moment I have no set preferences! Personally, I enjoy doing puzzles, going for walks, going to the park, and safely baking with children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny to me is seeing each child become their own person. I treat every child I watch as family. There’s nothing better than seeing someone you truly care about develop their own characteristics and mannerisms all while you’re giving them the love to do it!
My experience with special needs children...
I have some experience with special needs children. I especially have experience with children with food allergies and am very conscientious about the health of the child/children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Over my time with every kid I babysit, the kids growing up has been the most memorable for me. I’ve loved seeing each child develop into their own person over time. I think my favorite memory has to be taking the kids on “yogurt dates” where we would go to the store and they would get to pick out their favorite yogurt and we would sit on the patio at home and eat it! Sounds silly, but it just helps them to feel like they’re going out and doing something super fun even when it’s just simple. I love seeing the independence of each child picking their own yogurt flavor, making a definitive decision for themselves.

Babysitter Available in Boise, ID: Julia J.
Hi there! As a middle child of 7 kids, and an auntie to 11 nieces and nephews, I have extensive experience with kids from every age group. I was my mamas little helper and learned household chores quite literally from the time I was old enough to. I would love the opportunity to help out with your family’s needs. I think kids offer the best perspectives in life and I relish the organic moments I get to share with them that teach me life lessons. Although I don’t hold active CPR/First Aid certifications, I worked at a foster care agency and am currently trained in both for my other job. I love tidying and organizing things and love making people’s lives easier. Thanks for considering me to be your family’s new right hand woman!
