More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have babysat within my family since I was about 12 years old. I have 5 nephews from 6 yrs old- 1 yr old and have been babysitting all of them since they were born. One of my nephews is special needs and I have always been able to babysit him as well with no complaints.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love playing games like tag or hide n seek or also just hanging out and watching movies. I enjoy going on walks and getting fresh air and playing outdoor games as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of babysitting for me is learning the children you are babysitting and understanding you are in their world and its up to you to respect them and their home. It's important to of course watch the child always, but also become a friendly figure to them that they can trust and be themselves around.

My experience with special needs children...

My nephew who is currently 6 years old is special needs. I have babysat him his whole life. He is unable to communicate or fully engage when it comes to people, but I've always loved observing what he does and learning what he enjoys while also giving him space since he does get easily overwhelmed.
