The most important part about being a nanny is understanding the child (or children) you're nannying. Understanding a child requires active listening, close attending, and having knowledge of child social-emotional development.

My favorite nanny moment is taking the children I was caring for to a pumpkin patch and seeing how full of joy they were picking out pumpkins, going through the children's maze, and drinking hot cocoa. It was such a great day, full of laughs and gleeful moments.
