I have worked as a Registered Behavior Technician working with children on the spectrum for 2 1/2 years. Before that I have experience babysitting and being a nanny. I also have completed volunteer work with children at my church.

As an RBT I helped with adaptive skills and worked with the children to teach functional communication. I also have experience with high behaviors and I am not intimidated by them. I view them as a form of communication and want to help the child communicate in a way that will help them access their environment.
