Worked with children ages 3-8 at an afterschool program at Hathaway Brown.
Cared for two boys, ages 2 and 6 when I started, for a little over two years. The oldest boy has autism, so I followed a strict schedule, used a behavioral analysis system, and used specific techniques and games which would help to calm him.
I am also the oldest of 6 and have always done as much as I can to help out. I live with two of my siblings and a single mother, the youngest is 12, and I help out my mother in any way that I can!

All that aside, I wish there was an app like this when I had my first child. All of the experience in daycare and professional teaching, never came close to how hard yet beautiful and how taxing but rewarding it was to have children of my own. I have two sets of twins... totally not what I imagined but it did make me have to be a caretaker..two 5 year olds and two newborns at the time. I thought I was not going to be able to make it but I did! I want to be that somebody that I never had. I want to take care of your baby(babies) at night so you can rest, at least a little lol. I want to be an important aspect and trusting ally for you, your babies, spouse, and family. I know it's hard to relinquish that innate caretaker feeling but you don't have to do it alone 🥰
