I’ve been working with younger kids since I was at a young age. My family split when I was young so I also understand that portion. My youngest brother was born when I was 4 and I now have 5 younger siblings I’ve helped taken care of. Outside my own siblings, I’m open to availability night shifts as well, I worked for a woman once who had two boys she needed someone to watch while she worked night shifts at the hospital, it was a good experience to be able to spend time with the kids before bed, put them in bed, clean up, and make breakfast before the kids got up. It was very enjoyable! :)
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Baking, minimal gaming, playing with pets, outside activities within reason, arts and crafts, board games, fun learning games.

i definitely think it’s important for a kid to be able to stay comfortable in their own home and have a trustworthy adult help boost them in everyday life while the parent is away for one of multiple reasons. I believe Nannies help boost kids confidence levels as well as teach them social skills in their own home and/or around new people.

I baby sat two brothers from [phone number hidden] why had a good portion of land with a pond in it and two French Bulldogs. In their pond they had a mating pair of wild geese that would come back every summer to lay eggs, raise a family, and then leave for the winter. The first summer I worked there i didn’t know they weren’t friendly geese so when I got out of my car near the geese they flew at me. It was quite a laugh to text the boys mother saying I was trapped in my car by their guard geese and having her frenchies come out and save me by chasing the geese back by their pond! The boys were age 9 and 12 and they found it absolutely hilarious that their babysitter got afraid of the geese! haha it’s a good laugh
