I worked as a lifeguard and private swim instructor at a beach and pool club for four summers. I also worked as a nature center intern for one summer where I spent a lot of time doing camp counselor activities with children and teaching them about different animals.

The most important thing about being a nanny is making sure the children feel safe and comfortable around me; I also want to participate in their interests as much as possible and nurture what they are passionate about, whether that be art, sports, etc. I want the kids I care for to feel like they can completely be themselves and have as much fun as possible!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when one of the little boys I was nannying last summer was able to shoot his first hoop into his basketball hoop in his backyard! He had been trying all summer and was so excited when he was finally able to; it was the sweetest thing.
