I am a certified Parent volunteer at my kids school district where I help manage groups during field trips. For over 20yrs now, I would consistently babysit my baby nieces+nephews and friends' children from all ages, with mostly infants. 😁
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Lots of activities I love doing with children indoors are reading (w/dramatization), cooking, drawing/painting, board games, dancing, and singing. As for outdoors I love playing all types of sports from football, basketball, baseball, tennis, skating, and jogging. The best activity I love to do more than anything is taking nice nature walks and having great conversations with them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
is making sure all babies are safe and secured at all times under my care. What is also important is knowing what the parents' expectations are (like what/how they would like me to deliver care) and that i meet and exceed them effectively+efficiently!
My experience with special needs children...
Throughout my middle and high school, I did volunteering for special education where I would assist in a little of everything. And for the past 16yrs I would babysit my nephew every so often.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Reason why i love babysitting is because i just love kids. They are the funniest and most loving people on Earth. There's nothing that warms a heart more than a child's smile. And a child smile is what and why we are here for.
