Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Since I have many younger cousins I would babysit them for free and would care for at most 5 kids at once ranging from the ages of an infant to 13 years old. I also was a tutor for young kids all throughout high school. I specialize in english, math, history, and science, but depending on the age of the child I can do more.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing anything creative such as painting, drawing, arts and crafts, and more. I also enjoy doing physical activities like playing basketball or volleyball with kids because it allows them to have fun while also being active.
My experience with special needs children...
I have never been paid for my work with special needs children but I have experience. One of my cousins has autism so over the years I’ve come to understand her needs and boundaries. I also have volunteered on multiple occasions to help with special needs children at my high school and I always found their company extremely pleasant.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I once nannied a little boy, he was 11 years old, and we both got bored so he brought out an activity we could do. He had a whole set of beads and other charms for bracelets and the rest of the night we made bracelets for each other.
