Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes my time working as a full-time nanny for families with infants, toddlers, and school-age children. I cared for 3-month-old twins, a 3-year-old girl, and children up to 7–8 years old. My responsibilities included feeding, diaper changes, naps, engaging in age-appropriate activities, and light housekeeping related to the children. I was also an au pair in 2020, which gave me valuable experience living with a family and supporting their daily routines.

The most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting, caring relationship with both the child and the family. Children thrive when they feel safe, supported, and loved, so creating that kind of environment is always my top priority. It’s also important to be consistent, reliable, and patient—every child is different, and being able to adapt while supporting their growth is a big part of what makes this work so meaningful.

I also have experience working with children on the autism spectrum, specifically those on the lower end of the spectrum. I'm patient, attentive, and always aim to create a calm, supportive environment that meets their individual needs and routines.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was seeing a toddler I cared for take their first steps—I had been working closely with the family and helping with daily routines, so it felt really special to witness such an important milestone. Moments like that remind me how rewarding it is to be a part of a child’s growth and development. Whether it’s learning a new word, mastering a skill, or just sharing a good laugh, those everyday moments mean a lot to me.
