More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I started my childcare journey working in summer camps and in schools. I have worked in a preschool as a teacher assistant and then in a K-12 school as an aftercare counselor, substitute and then as a student teacher intern for a second grade classroom. I now have a degree in Elementary Education from FAU. From here I moved to CT to nanny full-time for a family with three boys. Now that I have since moved back to FL I have been working occasionally with families in the Palm City, Stuart and Jupiter Island area.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am a big supporter of no electronics for the kids and to try and do this I motivate children to play outside, plays games together inside, puzzles, arts & crafts, etc.

My experience with special needs children...
I was a full-time nanny for a family with a child who had cerebral palsy. I supported this child in his PT and OT and motivated/supported him to perform independently throughout the day.
