14.5 years working for families in Chester and Deleware County. Some were temporary positions based on the families needs, and other were long term- one family I was with for 6.5 years. I had a whole table of parents at my wedding from families I’ve worked for. I have many excellent references.

My experience with special needs children...

At the start of my career as a nanny, I had a preemie who had heart and lung monitors. He had severe colic throughout his first year.
I also recently had a baby who needed a helmet and physical therapy to correct torticollis, which required daily exercises and stretches.

The most important part about being a nanny...

After all these years, there are too many to count. I always say the best part about being a nanny is that even on the tough days, there is always joy and laughter sprinkled throughout.
I always love moments of great pride, and the way they look when I tell them they should be so proud of themselves. Giggle fits are always fun. Dance parties. Rocking & feeding all my babes.
