A little bit about me

My name is Lindsey! I’m a former daycare teacher and nanny! I first floated to each room allowing me to work with children of all ages. I was then promoted to teacher of the infant room followed by Preschool A and the Young Toddler room. This gave me the ability to work with children in any stage. Before the daycare I was a summer nanny to four children. It was a wonderful experience showing me that working with children was rewarding and something I enjoyed. In my time at the daycare I learned so much! I have experience in potty training and how to help children positively relate to big emotions and set them up for success. I have experience in arranging activities that encourage fun and learning! With the rise of Covid my time at the daycare came to a close. I decided to once again nanny! I’ve had a wonderful few months with the most energetic and silly 2 year old girl! As her family has decided to move back to NYC, I’m now starting my search for another family to work with!

I was a Daycare teacher for about 4 years. Although I have experience with all ages from 0-12 years my time at the daycare gave me concentrated experience with children 0-5 years. It also equipped me with many certifications in Early Childhood Development classes and training from the State of Connecticut.
