I have hands-on childcare experience caring for children of various ages. I am the mother of a 2-year-old daughter and provide daily care, including feeding, diapering, potty training support, nap routines, and age-appropriate activities. I also cared for the Holman family for two years, where I was responsible for a newborn and a 2-year-old, assisting with feeding, diaper changes, sleep schedules, and developmental play. Additionally, I provide care for my 4-year-old cousin on occasion and help care for my 14-year-old niece who lives in my household, supporting supervision, routines, and daily needs. Through these experiences, I have developed strong patience, responsibility, and a deep understanding of children’s safety, structure, and emotional needs.

I enjoy engaging children in age-appropriate activities that support learning, creativity, and fun. Some of the activities I enjoy include reading books, arts and crafts, coloring, sensory play, outdoor play, music and movement, and educational games. I also enjoy helping with basic learning skills such as colors, shapes, numbers, and letters. I focus on activities that encourage creativity, social skills, and emotional development while keeping children active, engaged, and safe.

The most important part about being a nanny is providing a safe, loving, and consistent environment where children feel secure and supported. Building trust with both the child and the family is essential, along with being patient, attentive, and reliable. A nanny plays a key role in supporting a child’s emotional, social, and developmental growth while ensuring their daily needs are met with care and respect.

I have experience supporting children with different needs and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and individualized care. I approach each child with compassion and adaptability, taking the time to understand their routines, triggers, and strengths. I am attentive to directions provided by parents or caregivers and prioritize creating a calm, safe, and supportive environment. I am willing to learn, follow care plans, and work closely with families to ensure each child feels comfortable, respected, and supported.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was watching a child reach an important milestone and knowing I played a part in supporting them. Whether it was helping with first words, taking first steps, or seeing a child become more confident in their routine, those moments were very rewarding for me. I enjoy building trust with children and families and creating a loving, consistent environment where children feel safe to grow, learn, and be themselves.
