My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children with special needs through both volunteer and educational settings. From grade school through high school, I participated in a Peer Helper program, where I supported students with a variety of needs. In high school, I also assisted in adapted physical education (PE) classes for children with special needs. I am currently pursuing an Associate’s degree in Special Education, which I expect to complete in December. These experiences have helped me develop patience, compassion, strong communication skills, and the ability to provide individualized support based on each child’s unique needs.
