I have 17 years of experience as a child care teacher. I have a certification to operate my daycare at home. My last job I was a Teacher/Pod Lead, I was in charge of 7 staff and 35 kids in our pod. I communicate daily to my teachers about goals, deadlines, and any updates. I communicate daily with the parents about what their child did that day, new development changes, goals, or areas we can work on together. I understand how to reassure parents and gain parents trust, I'm a mom myself I understand how important your kids are to you.I'd love to become a nanny to have more of a connection with the kids and families. Art/crafts, sensory/science, sing songs, read stories, sign language, fine motor,( examples play dough, blocks, matching, draw with chalk) large motor, ( examples dancing, bubbles, jumping, kicking a ball, playing tag, park ) word cards, and math.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I get to have more time with the kids and actually build a better relationship with them, and build that connection with them. I have more one on one interaction that I really like.

I have experience with autistic children, down syndrome and children who have food allergies.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite memories working with kids is when we sing songs together. I love how excited and giggly they get on certain parts of the songs they know so well. I love when the first time they see me in the morning they give me the biggest hug. I also love you teaching them a certain thing and you finally see them doing it!
