Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love turning ordinary moments into little adventures! Depending on the child’s age and interests, that might include sensory play, arts and crafts, storytelling, baking, music, imaginative games or building projects. Outdoors, I enjoy nature walks, scavenger hunts, playground visits, picnics and trips to the library. I follow each child’s curiosity while creating activities that encourage creativity, movement, confidence and learning.

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a relationship where a child feels genuinely safe, seen and understood. Children thrive when they know the adult caring for them is consistent, patient and interested in who they are … not just in managing their behaviour. I want every child in my care to feel free to explore, ask questions, make mistakes and grow with confidence.

I have both professional and personal experience supporting neurodivergent children and children with additional needs. This includes children who benefit from support with communication, sensory processing, attention, transitions, emotional regulation and social interaction. My approach is patient, observant and individualized. I focus on understanding what a child’s behaviour is communicating and adapting the environment, routine and expectations to help them feel safe, capable and included.
