A little bit about me

I'm Lissette Aguirre. I grew up in Guatemala. I have been living in Chicago for 12 years. I got a degree in Engineering in my country. Also I got US transcripts. I took ESL classes for 2 years. I'm great with infants, toddlers and preschoolers. I have been babysitting during weekends and working with children for 10 years. I worked for 8 years at a Day Care and watched my little ones grow up. I was doing nanny share for almost 2 years, and my currently job is almost finished. I like to do activities with children to help their little minds grow and blossom. CPR and First Aid certified. COVID19 vaccinated + boosted, Tdap, Flu and Hepatitis B. I have been completing a lot of classes and certifications (DCFS) like Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) and Sudden Infant death Syndrome (SIDS). Also I got the ECE Credential 1 (Early Childhood Education). I speak Spanish, English and I'm learning French. Im looking for a full time/Long term nanny job. Im so excited to find another wonderful family.

The most important part of being a nanny for me is being able to connect with my child, build a safe, loving relationship and offer a stable environment. All of this are important for nurturing children.

I have had many proud and rewarding moments with the children I have cared for. During the time I worked at the Daycare I helped some children and I taught them how to write, read and practice additions with just 4 years old.
Also Im most proud of all the love and close relationships I get to experience with the families I work with as a babysitting during weekends and as a nanny.
And when I find myself working with a child and seeing them progress developmentally in whatever it may be: vocabulary, motor skills, cognitively, etc.
