My experience with special needs children...

My experience with special needs kids includes volunteering at an elementary school where I worked closely with children who had behavioral challenges. I spent time helping them stay on task, regulate emotions, and build positive social skills. I also volunteered with a special needs baseball league that welcomed kids of all ages and abilities. We assisted them with hitting, catching, throwing, and most importantly being present and connecting with them. It taught me patience, understanding, and the importance of creating a safe and encouraging space for every child to shine.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite memory is from babysitting. I was babysitting a little girl one evening. We built a huge fort together out of blankets and pillows, and then spent hours playing inside it, telling stories, playing games, and just having fun in our cozy little hideaway. Seeing her smile and hearing her laughter made that night really special, and it reminded me how important it is to create joyful, memorable moments with kids.
