My name is Lorelei! I go to college at MO State I’ve been babysitting since I was 14 years old and i’ve worked with a large range of children. I love hanging out at home with the kids or taking them on some adventures. I’m happy to help around the house and cook if you need it, anything to make your life easier!! I’m going to school to be a speech-language pathologist so i love spending time with kids and learning more about their development :) I am looking to work with a family a few days a week. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I babysat for a church group, there were 15 kids ages 1 through 12. I watched this group for two years. I babysit for a family of 4 regularly and have been for 4 years now. I worked at the Delmar Gardens Early Education Center in the 2-3 year old room but was also with the 4-6 year olds a lot. Other than that I babysit on the side for many families that i’ve met through those various experiences.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going to the park or the pool! Board games are a favorite of mine. Movie nights, dance parties, karaoke. Watching the kids play outside! I’m down for pretty much anything :)

The most important part about being a nanny...

Spending meaningful time with the children and helping them to grow in their environment. I love making connections with these children and helping them be the best versions of themselves.

My experience with special needs children...

At my church I volunteered in the Special Focus room, which was just a place for the special needs children to hangout while their parents went to service. At the childcare center I worked closely with a 2-year old who had a cleft lip and down syndrome. Overall i’ve spent a lot of time which children that have special needs all throughout my life.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I was watching the group of 15 kids all the girls wanted to do a dance routine for their parents at the end of the night. So i got Your a Mean One Mr. Grinch on my phone and they choreographed their own acrobatic dance routine. The boys helped by being their audience and flashing the light switches. I smiled and played their music while helping them remember the steps. They were so excited to show their parents and everyone videoed it, honestly it was just so cute seeing all 15 of them do something together (which is crazyyyy for that age group)!
