Hi my name is Lori Ross. I’m a 45 year old mother of 3 boys. I’m happily married. As of today I am a Pre school teacher to 7 busy 1 year old’s. I have a college degree from McNeese State University. The concentration is called family and child studies. I worked at Memorial Hospital for over seven years on the psych psychiatric department. I took care of adults, adolescence, and the elderly. I work closely with doctors nurses to help with the patient treatment plan/outpatient care plan/medication management. My experience with special needs children...

I’ve worked with a small handful of special need children during my time at the pre school. One thing I do understand that they need is someone who is compassionate, caring, and patient.
They need someone to love them and help them where they are. Not trying to overly push them or stimulate them. But yet learn how to calm them and love them for who God made them to be.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think my favorite Nanny moment would be when I was blessed to be a stay at home mother to my three young boys.
Yes, we had less money coming into our household. But the fact that I was able to go on field trips and teach them at home was really the highlight of my life with them.
