More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I've been working with children for five years. I started at a neurodevelopment center as a volunteer with children ages 1 and up, focusing on early stimulation, fine and gross motor development, and toilet training. Afterward, I worked as a third-grade teacher with children ages 5 and 6. After that, I was an au pair (nanny) for two years with a wonderful family. I cared for three children ages 4, 7, and 9. The middle child has autism. I prepared snacks and meals, prepared and delivered them to school, picked them up, organized recreational activities, provided support during speech or occupational therapy, and took them to the park or extracurricular activities.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
coloring, singing, reading books, playing, exploring nature, going to the park.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe that nannying is a path of mutual learning, where I can
significantly contribute to the optimal growth and development of the children in my care. My goal is to foster a nurturing environment that strengthens children's relationships with themselves and the world around them.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with children with special educational needs and autism. I volunteered at a neurodevelopment center with children with autism. As a teacher, there were children with special educational needs in my classroom. I worked for two years taking care of a child with autism, helping them with occupational and language therapies
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment as a nanny is seeing how children achieve their goals and create a bond with their environment and other people.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Seattle, WA: Sahra M.
Hi! I'm a junior at the University of Washington, double majoring in Computer Science and Informatics. As the eldest of four younger brothers, I’ve always loved caring for kids and helping others. I’ve been babysitting for as long as I can remember and have worked as a tutor for grade school students through programs like Team Read, Team Math, and YWCA. I’m comfortable supporting kids in all subjects, including computer science, and I’ve also completed several SWE internships at big tech companies. Families describe me as bubbly, responsible, and very organized. I’m also up to date on current trends, which helps me connect with kids easily and keep them engaged.
