More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked other jobs where I cared for children. One including Build a Bear. I would interact with them a lot throughout the bear making process. For example, I would help them pick a bear, accessories, and outfits, and I would let them help me stuff their bear and dress them. I also worked as a photographer and assistant manager at a seasonal easter set at my local mall. I would help the kids pose with the bunny and help them feel more comfortable if they were scared. Lastly, I worked as a substitute tutor for special ed students for a few months. I helped them with their learning activities, took them to lunch, recess, and the bathroom, and overall assisted them with anything they needed.

I enjoy doing just about anything, playing outdoors, indoors, creative, activities, educational activities, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
For me, it's important to be patient and understanding. It builds trust, improves communication and promotes good behaviors, and overall strengthens our bond.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked at multiple elementary schools as a substitute tutor. I worked alongside other tutors and I would usually be in different classrooms every day and I would work with one or two kids. I would meet them in the front of the school when their bus would come, I helped with their daily work, offered emotional support when needed, tracked their progress, and collaborated with other tutors.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments I've had with my kid is helping them out with their homework and playing educational games with them. It is fun and they learn at the same time. A close second is watching tv with them and my kid explaining who the characters were and what was going on in the show.
