I love working withe families because I genuinely enjoy helping kids feel comfortable, supported, and excited about their day. Building trust with families and creating a fun, safe environment for children is something that’s extremely rewarding to me. I’ve worked in the summer camp industry for the past six years. For my first two years, I was a counselor living in the same cabin as my campers, supporting them 24/7 and making sure they felt happy, safe, and confident. I was then promoted to Group Leader, where I continued working closely with campers while also developing strong communication with parents to ensure their childcare needs were met and that their children had the best possible experience. I now work full-time as the Office Manager at a summer camp in Pennsylvania, where I’m still very connected to both campers and families every day.
