More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have done volunteer work in which I worked with children in special needs, small babies, and toddlers. I am aware of how small children behave, and have the skills to handle any outbursts.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy playtime with children. Going outside, playing tag, making mud pies, swimming, running around in the rain. Or staying inside, reading, watching TV, playing games, snack-time, or playing with toys.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is keeping a child safe. While it's important to keep them stimulated and happy, our main job is caring for children and keeping them safe.
My experience with special needs children...
While I have experience with special needs children, I am not experienced. I would not recommend myself if your child may need specific care or medical care. However, I am well-suited to care for children with any mental illness. I am not a therapist or counselor, but I have been given tips to help in case of any emotional emergencies.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I caring for a small girl, around 6, and she wanted to play princesses. Her mother dropped her off at my home and I pulled out my dresses. She ran around the house in a gown FAR too big, screaming about slaying a dragon. Which had to become me, so I had to run away from a very little girl, tripping every few seconds, while being a big scary dragon. It was very funny.
