I worked in my local school district with special needs children. I have also worked independently as a nanny. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I absolutely enjoy playing outdoors, taking walks and observing nature, birds, animals, etc. I love puzzles, to color, to create with leggos, etc. I also love to play games that will never go out of style, such as with a ball, a jump rope, hop scotch.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My very favorite nanny moment was when I was caring for a 2 1/2 yr. old boy. He knew my pet cat had recently passed away who was 18 yrs. old. He said to me "get 'nother one". I answered "I'm not sure I'm ready yet sweetie". He said "just get 'nother one". He hugged me with tears in his eyes.
