I love playing games, creating imaginary games, crafting, baking, and spending time outside! The family I nannied for this past summer enjoyed hosting lemonade stands and would save the money they earned--which was so fun!
My experience with special needs children...
I peer-mentored students with various physical and intellectual disabilities during my junior and senior years of high school. This mentorship involved assistance in social settings, learning how to work on a team, practicing occupational skills, organizing service work, and hanging out one-on-one with them! I built genuine friendships, and I still keep in touch and see them to this day!
