Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I helped out in special needs classrooms in 8th grade, I helped my mom watch elementary grade special needs kids. I have watched a lot of my little cousins from little 2-3 year olds too 4-6 year olds. Growing up I always was the oldest in my neighborhood “friend” groups so I’ve learned how to take care of kids even just a few years younger then me.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love playing with kids even if it’s just board games, educational games or even imaginary games. I feel like that’s the best part of watching kids, seeing them play and be all happy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being able to take care of kids no matter how they act. Knowing kids boundaries about new people, some kids get scared meeting new people so you start slowly with them instead of rushing it and trying to bond with them instantly.
