I have been working with kids through any odd job possible my whole life.
In middle school I would babysit, volunteer at safety town and my moms preschool, and soccer ref. for younger kids.
Throughout high school I worked at a summer camp called Trackers up in Portland where the purpose was to help children feel connected with nature while still being safe.
Currently, as a third year at OSU, I've been working at the local rock gym in town as a coach and climbing instructor!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love exploring nature, crafts, and creating fun mystery/scavenger hunt types of games with kids.
I always try to structure time with kids as a big breath. Starting with something calm to feel out the day and slowly building a ruckus and then bringing it back together to help finish that breath.

At Trackers I worked with a lot of children with special needs and have found that I have a very natural skill and patience for this type of work.
Currently, at the rock gym I work at, I am a private instructor for a teenage girl with special needs!
