Making a genuine connection with the kids and helping them during a tough day! For example, at my volunteer center there’s a 5 year old girl that has attached to me and I helped her reconnect with the rest of the group of kids. After talking she explained why she was hurting (baby tooth was falling out!) and we sang songs and played games for the rest of the night.
