The most important part when caring for a child to me, is letting them feel comfortable enough to tell you the serious things, while also teaching them how to be a generally good person.
My experience with special needs children...
I have had loads of experience with special needs children, in the 8th grade I helped teach special needs children how to improve on their socializing and everyday life skills. My sister who is now 16 has autism and I have had to help people understand her basically my whole life while also teaching her how to read social que’s and helping her with homework and everyday life situations. My 6 year old cousin is nonverbal autistic and it was definitely difficult with him but I always made whatever wasent working out… work, while also teaching him little things like high giving people, giving people kisses, and even how to do the wheels on the bus dance 😂
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment when dealing with children was probably all the laughter I’ve had with my two youngest siblings, they are 8 year old twins one a girl and the other a boy, they balance eachother out so when my sister is being sassy like usual my brother will chime in and just roast her and they’ll just go back and forth doing that. I’ve definitely had loads of laughter with them but those moments really hold the most laughter.
