Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have both worked and volunteered with children with special needs. I have experience with some of the most challenging behaviors and medically fragile children. I've also managed a summer reading club for children ages 5-12 at my local library, therefore I have experience managing large groups of children. I also have extensive experience tutoring 3rd & 4th-grade students in reading, writing, and some math.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking children outdoors and showing them the magic of our environment. I love biking, taking walks, hiking, and swimming with children. I also love coming up with fun and creative art projects that challenge children to think outside of the box. I've also learned to make fun and games out of homework in some of my past babysitting positions.
